The All People’s Congress (APC) and its author, Dr Hassan Ayariga, are set to set out on a three-day dissent starting 7 November 2019 to constrain media transmission mammoth MTN to stop “unlawful reasonings” and remunerate its clients.
The APC said MTN has been deducting unlawful levies from its supporters from 1 October 2019, after the declaration of the 9% Communication Service Tax (CST) by the Ministry of Communications.
The gathering said it’s purpose to set out on the showing was because of the disappointment by MTN “to stop the illicit findings and discount monies taken from clients” after it had prior given a one-week final proposal to the telco.
“All People’s Congress (APC) drove by Dr Hassan Ayariga will on Thursday, November 7, 2019, turn the Head Office of MTN to ‘Tahrir Square’ in an extraordinary showing named ‘No Baga Wire’ against the unlawful conclusions by the telcos,” an announcement gave by APC National Communications Officer, Francis Ansah Tawiah, said.
